I am Cally Chan, vice-chairman of Members Affairs Committee since mid-2007.

On 6 June 2007 the Council of iProA approved two membership schemes - Corporate member and Life membership.

Corporate Scheme

Organization and companies engaged in ICT business or applied ICT in their business operation are highly welcome to join the Corporate Scheme.

The scheme is designed to:

• Facilitate the corporate to sponsor their staff to join our association for wider exposure through joining iProA events and activities to keep abreast of the latest ICT industry development

• Provide an excellent exclusive platform for corporate members for networking.

I am pleased to report that our membership has now exceeded 1,500 with 200 newly joined members in 2007 and there are around 130 applications being processed. Furthermore, the Corporate Scheme is well received and we have more than 10 corporate members by 2007 with some more applications being processed.

In October 2007, we organized the iProA Networking Event. Thanks to your support, it was a wonderful gathering with overwhelming participation.

Looking ahead, we will continue our effort in developing and expanding our membership to provide an excellent networking and communication platform for all of you.
