Dear iProA Members and Friends,

I am delighted that our press conference about the Global Information Technology (GIT) Report 2006-07 held on 12 June 2007 received encouraging response from the media. I think it is a good start in our effort to call for community-wide attention to the importance of ICT development for the overall competitiveness of Hong Kong in the long-run in the global marketplace. After the Press Conference, iProA has received numerous enquires and invitations for interviews concerning our perspective on the local ICT industry and its outlook. 

Our Policy Committee has compiled a report summarizing our analyses of the GIT Report and comments on the current situation of Hong Kong’s ICT industry in relation to our economic well-being.
