Hong Kong ICT Awards 2007 - Awards Presentation Ceremony

The Awards Presentation Ceremony of the The Hong Kong ICT Awards was held on 21 January 2008 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Hong Kong ICT Awards were established in 2006 as a collaborative effort among industry support organizations, ICT professional bodies, academia and the Government to establish a large scale and internationally recognized branding of ICT awards of Hong Kong.

With the effort of seven local industry-related organizations, the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2007 had drawn over 300 entries for the seven award categories including Best Business Award, Best Digital Entertainment Award, Best Digital Inclusion Award, Best Innovation & Research Award, Best Lifestyle Award, Best Public Service Application Award and Best Ubiquitous Networking Award. iProA is the Organizer of the Best Innovation & Research Award and Co-organizer of the Best Digital Inclusion Award and Best Public Service Application Award.

The Awards Presentation of the Grand Awards and the Award of the Year was held on the 21 January 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre at 6:30 p.m. This year, we were honoured to have Mr. John Tsang Chun-wah, JP, Financial Secretary, as the Guest of Honour and we were privileged to have him present the Award of the Year at the event. The awards presentation ceremonies, cocktail receptions and winner's showcases of the seven individual categories also took place on the very same afternoon.
