The 3rd SIG in Venture Capital and New Business Development: Breakfast Meeting

The event was organized by iProA Special Interest Group Venture Capital and New Business Development, the Hong Kong Information Technology Industry Council (HKITIC) of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and Hong Kong IT Alliance on 7 December 2007.

We were glad to have invited Mr. K. O. Chia, the President of HK Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCPEA) and the Former Managing Director at Walden International, a US-Asia VC/PE firm; he previously held senior management positions at HP/ Agilent Europe & Asia-Pacific, Apple Computer Asia, and was a member of the original team at venture-backed technology company, Premisys Communications, Inc. to share his point of view on "Secrets Behind VC-funded companies".

The presentation provided practical insights into the most vexing and commonly encountered issues of getting VCs attention by individual IT businesses, SMEs, or budding entrepreneurs pursuing their dreams.
