2007 Amway Pan-Pearl River Delta Region Universities IT Project Competition (Hong Kong Region)

2007 Amway Pan-Pearl River Delta Region Universities IT Project Competition (Hong Kong Region) officially closed on June 23, 2007. This year, we have received totally 23 pieces of works from 6 institutions Hong Kong.

Through participating in this event, participants contributed to the academic exchange, fellowship establishment and collective improvement across the Pan-Pearl River Delta area. It was also a golden chance for participants to broaden horizons and interact with the industry in order to gain exposure to market demand on computer applications in this high-profile, public occasion. In addition, it fostered internal and external collaboration so as to cater for the needs for ICT talents in Hong Kong.

All four judges agreed on the competencies of the IT projects. In particular, they were impressed by the innovativeness of most projects. Considering the implementation difficulty, the judges found that the works were highly competitive. The judges hold a high expectation on the teams in the final event, extending last year’s achievements.

Third-runner-up:

Name: Chan Chun Pong

Topic: Dance Education System

Congratulations on their outstanding achievement. They will go to Guiyang, Guizhou to take part in the Grand Final to compete and share with other winners from Macau and nine other provinces in Pan-Pearl River Delta Region on 29 June.
