The Annual Dinner of iProA was held on 26 April (Thursday) at Hotel Miramar in Tsim Sha Tsui.  It was a wonderful time for iProA members to celebrate our accomplishments in the past year, and a golden opportunity for us to meet our old and new friends in the ICT sector and celebrate with our distinguished guests. The event was honored by Mr. Francis Ho,JP, Permanent Secretary, Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau, Communications and Technology Branch, Hong Kong SAR Government, who was invited to be the Guest of Honour of the event. Special thanks were delivered by our President Dr. Winnie Tang to Dr. Elizabeth Quat, our immediate Past President, for her effort in founding iProA and her fine leadership in the healthy development of iProA over the years;  Mr. Felix See, our Function Chairman, and the Organizing Committee for their fabulous job in making the Annual Dinner a successful and enjoyable event; Mr. Francis Ho for his valuable presence as our Guest of Honor; and our table sponsors for inviting their guests to join us in the wonderful evening.

To express our appreciation of the organizations or individuals who have made significant contributions to the iProA initiatives and events held in the past year, Dr. Winnie Tang took this opportunity to present Appreciation Awards to the great leaders who made these initiatives a success.  With the generous support by HP Hong Kong and Microsoft, an auction was held to raise fund for the Internet Foundation.  There were 16 sponsors for the 30 prizes of the lucky draw. Dr. Winnie Tang announced the upcoming events of iProA from May to August in 2007. The newly published iProA Annual Report 2007 and souvenirs were distributed to every guest at the Dinner.  The Dinner was well attended by more than 400 guests, with 16 table sponsors among the 33 tables.
