As the Legislative Council (Legco) Election is approaching, we (IT sector) from more than 20 professional associations have joined hand to co-organise a forum for the candidates running for the IT functional constituency in the 2008 LegCo Election. This forum will provide you with a valuable opportunity to learn more about the candidates and their election platforms.
Our IT Legco representative plays a crucial role in serving as a bridge between the IT sector and the HKSAR Government. It is therefore important for us now to make a well-informed decision in giving our votes to the candidate who can best channel our views and stand up for the interest of the IT sector. We strongly encourage you to attend this forum and seize this opportunity to share your view and expectations with the candidates about their roles and the IT sector's future development.
