2013香港資訊及通訊科技獎: 最佳創新及研究獎

 

由香港特區政府資訊科技總監辦公室、香港生產力促進局、香港貿易發展局全力支持,互聯網專業協會主辦的 《2013香港資訊及通訊科技獎:最佳創新及研究奬》已於2012年11月9日正式接受報名,歡迎全港學生、各界人士及公司踴躍參加。上屆的最佳創新及研究獎得獎者包括: 醫院管理局、香港浸會大學科技大學、香港理工大學、天主教佑華小學、順德聯誼會翁祐中學等等。

 

  今屆「最佳創新及研究奬」共設有四個組別:  

 

小學組
中學組
大專及大學組
研究生及公開組

香港資訊及通訊科技獎得獎者的卓越成就將備受客戶、機構、業界人士、以至整個社會的廣泛認同。每個組別獎項劃分為金、銀及銅,並設有優異證書及特別嘉許。得獎者會獲取:

  • 頒發金/銀/銅獎座或證書;
  • 授權在宣傳物品上展示香港資訊及通訊科技獎的標誌;
  • 安排於不同類型的推廣活動中宣傳其得獎項目;
  • 協助參加其他國際獎項和比賽;
  • 由香港科技園贊助的「快線審核」加入「科技創業培育計劃」及「生物科技創業培育計劃」
  • 由數碼港贊助的免費登記使用其協作中心之服務,包括軟著陸、業務支援服務等。

“Innovative Technologies: Mobile Apps and Web3.0”:
Topic: Innovative Technologies: Mobile Apps and Web3.0
Abstract: Globally, the use of mobile devices for communication, web surfing and entertainment has gained popularity and this phenomenon is particularly notable in Hong Kong. On average, each person in Hong Kong owns about 2 mobile phones, one or both of which are smartphones. With good coverage of data network in Hong Kong, people can get whatever information they want from the internet conveniently and economically.
Building on the innovative technology of Web 3.0 and the userfriendliness of smartphones, people can get personalized and relevant information from the huge data base on the web. Alex will discuss how the latest mobile technology enhances Web 3.0 trend.

Speaker: Hung Man Ching, Alex (洪文正)
Alex Hung has over 17 years of experience in Business Consulting and Information and Communications Technology industry. He has accumulated extensive IT expertise and broad industry knowledge, covering both technical and business perspectives.
He is a part-time lecturer for degree and courses at HKU, Baptist University HK and University of London UK. He was appointed as Honorary Lecturer for Computer Science Department of HKU for 3 years from 2002 to 2005, and has been the external course advisor for IT courses in HKIVEY (Tsing Yi).
He is now the Managing Director of Crossover International - www.crossover-int.com, which is mainly engaged in Information Technology consulting services and software development, including website, shopping art, e-Books, mobile application (iPhone/ Android) development.

About iProA SIG (Special Interest Group) in Venture Capital and New Business Development
This is a functional sub-committee of iProA, which focuses on Venture Capital and New Business Development, making available a meeting place between VCs and private equity on one hand, and entrepreneurs of start-up companies on the other. Experienced VCs as well as angel investors are invited regularly to give talks and share experiences with members on popular issues such as the sources of funding, the ingredients for attracting VCs, and secrets behind VC-funded companies.
Industry trends, new market developments and technology applications are also closely monitored, and regular talks on topical issues are organised. 

 

About Hong Kong Information Technology Industry Council (HKITIC)
Formed in May 2000 as an industry group of Federation of Hong Kong Industries(FHKI), HKITIC represents the software and IT industry in Hong Kong, with members embracing both top-tier multinationals and entrepreneurial start-ups.
