Hong Kong ICT Awards 2006: Digital Inclusion Grand Award is established to encourage and recognize the development of ICT products, software and services for the disadvantaged groups and also to raise the awareness of the public on digital inclusion. Via acknowledging the developers / organizers of digital inclusion projects, it aims to promote the needs and right of the disadvantaged groups to participate and contribute to the development of Information Society.
Definition of Digital Inclusion Projects
Projects that have brought benefits to the following groups in terms of including them in information society:

Senior Persons

People with Disabilities

Low Income Families
-
New Arrivals
-
Women
Eligibility
-
The Award is open to any registered company or organization of Hong Kong or individual who possess valid Hong Kong Identity Card.

Entrants must possess the intellectual property right to the ICT products, software, services and other designs mentioned in the application.

A significant part of the design, research and development of the mentioned ICT project must come from resources in Hong Kong.

Interested parties wishing to put in an entry should download the entry form from http://www.hkictawards.hk. Completed entry form should be returned to the Organizer Office (Address: Rm. 1108, Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai) no later than 12:00 noon on 16 June 2006 (Friday).
