Dear iProA Members & Friends,

This is my first time to write the iProA newsletter message as the Vice-President. This year, it is my great honor to be appointed as the Chairman for iProA Anniversary Event 2010 – Movie Premier.

It is our pleasure to inform you that the iProA anniversary event for 2010 will take a different form and we would like to cordially invite our members and friends to join with our Guest of Honour the Honorable Mr. Henry Tang, Chief Secretary at the Movie Premier The A-Team to be held on 9 June 2010, co-organized by iProA and Internet Foundation.

Last year, iProA proudly celebrated our 10th Anniversary as we have reached many milestones as a non-profit making organization dedicated to advancing the art and science as well as the proper application of internet technology. We are grateful to the positive acknowledgement by Mrs. Rita Lau, Secretary of Commerce and Economic Development of our work in bridging the digital divide to enable access to information and knowledge for all, thereby creating business and career opportunities for our community and beyond.

This year, we mark our 11th anniversary with a movie premier. To sustain our community initiative, I sincerely invite you all to support us for this meaningful fundraising event. The fund raised will be channeled to support our education activities aimed at bridging the digital divide.
