Individual Membership
We have six classes of individual membership based on the following considerations:

Honorary Members

Persons of distinction or who in the opinion of the Council, have rendered some outstanding service to the Association, may be admitted by the Council as Honorary Members without payment of any subscription.

Fellow Members

Persons who are executives of distinction in industry, commerce, Government and public organizations with at least 5 years of experience in the IT fields or persons who by special contribution have furthered the objects of the Association. A member shall not be admitted as a Fellow Member before he/she has been a Full Member for at least one full year save as under exceptional circumstances, in which case the admission has to be decided by the Council.

“Life Fellow Members” – Fellow member who can enjoy the membership for life. The eligibility is the same as Fellow Member.

Full Members

Persons who hold a relevant degree or professional qualifications with at least 2 years of experience in the IT field; or those who hold a relevant associate degree or equivalent qualifications with at least 6 years of experience in the IT fields.

“Life Full Members” – Full member who can enjoy the membership for life. The eligibility is the same as Full Member.

Associate Members

Persons who hold a relevant degree, associate degree, high diploma, diploma, certificate, or professional qualifications recognised by the Council for the purpose from time to time.

Junior Members

Persons who are studying award bearing programmes recognised by the Council for the purpose from time to time, e.g. a relevant degree, associate degree, high diploma, diploma, certificate, or professional course in the IT fields.

Affiliate Members

People with keen interest in the furtherance of iProA's mission and objectives, but not necessarily have any ties with the IT industry or related fields.

Other than individual membership, we offer Corporate Scheme for corporate.

Corporate Scheme
Organizations and companies engaged in ICT business or applied ICT in their business operations are highly welcome to join the Corporate Scheme. The scheme is designed to facilitate the corporate to sponsor their staff to join our association.  Corporate staff would gain better vision and wider exposure by joining iProA and take advantages of our events and activities to keep abreast of the ICT industry development. The details of Corporate Scheme are shown as below:

• Annual subscription of Corporate Scheme is HK$4,000.
• Organizations and companies can nominate up to 10 staff to be iProA members without additional charges. If more than 10 staff, the other staff can join enjoy the individual membership with 20% discount.
• If the nominated staff is going to resign, your company could nominate another staff to fill up the vacancy for the remaining valid period of the scheme. Meanwhile, the resigned staff could enjoy the membership continuously by paying the annual individual membership subscription.
• The membership class of nominee will be examined by iProA according to normal individual membership application procedures, which depends on his/her working experience and qualification.
